Dr. Harpreet Hyare is a Senior Consultant Neuroradiologist at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) NHS Trust and Honorary Associate Professor at University College London (UCL). She is the Lead Neuroradiologist for the Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) Service and the Lead Neuroradiologist for Proton Beam Radiotherapy. She also holds an Honorary Consultant position at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) NHS Trust. She gained her Medical Degree from University of Cambridge and completed her training in Radiology at UCLH which included an intercalated PhD investigating Advanced Neuroimaging in Neurodegeneration at UCL. Following a Visiting Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), she was appointed as Consultant Neuroradiologist at UCLH in 2009. Whilst expanding the Neuroradiology service at UCLH over 10 years, she has developed her specialist interest and expertise in TYA Cancer imaging. Her research interest is in the translation of novel imaging and machine learning techniques for evaluation of treatment response in pediatric and adult brain cancer. She holds several National Leadership positions, including Honorary Secretary for the British Neuro-Oncological Society (BNOS), Academic Subcommittee Member of the British Society of Neuroradiologists (BSNR), Clinical Liaison for the British and Irish Chapter of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (BIC-ISMRM).
