Dr. Hacein-Bey is a diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologist with interest and expertise in cerebrovascular, head and neck, and spine neuroradiological intervention. Dr. Hacein-Bey currently serves as Chief of the Division of Neuroradiology, Program Director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship, and Professor at the Department of Radiology at the University of California Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, California. Dr. Hacein-Bey’s research interests include cerebrovascular diseases and stroke, functional brain and spinal cord evaluation with advanced neuroimaging, and certain spine disorders. Dr. Hacein-Bey’s academic interests include novel ways of teaching and educating the next generation of physicians, as well as ethical aspects of medicine, including those related to increasing reliance on artificial intelligence.
