Damien Galanaud works as a neuroradiologist at Pitié Salpêtrière hospital in Paris. He is also full professor of radiology at Sorbonne Université since 2013. Pr Damien Galanaud’s research topics include neurometabolic diseases and diffusion tensor imaging. He has developped a strong research collaboration with the neuroimaging department of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston since 2012. He has taken part in multiple research protocols on traumatic brain injury, cardiac arrest multiple sclerosis and metabolic diseases. He is currently the scientific coordinator of project CALDIFF, a large multicenter study aimed at finding imaging biomarkers predictive of ALD conversion in patients with adrenomyeloneuropathy.
