Dr. Gaurang Shah is an Associate Chair and Professor of Radiology at the University of Michigan, where he serves as the director of fMRI. His interests include advanced brain imaging and head and neck radiology. Dr. Shah is the author of 59 peer-reviewed publications and three textbooks. He is the past president of the American Association of Radiologists of Indian Origin and the Michigan Radiological Society. He is a fellow of the American College of Radiology (ACR), the American Society of Functional Neuroradiology (ASFNR), and the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging. Dr. Shah has served on executive committees of the ASFNR and the Western Neuroradiological Society and is a member of the Council Steering Committee of the ACR, RVS Update Committee, and CPT advisor for the American Medical Association.
